Features

Everything for your daily prayer

Designed natively for iOS 26 with Liquid Glass and for Android with Material 3 Expressive – with a sky that follows the current prayer time.

  • Precise prayer times

Salaty calculates the times on your device from the position of the sun: with 15 recognised methods, standard or Hanafi Asr, rules for high latitudes and per-minute adjustments for every prayer. The method customary in your country is chosen automatically.

    All 15 methods
    1. Muslim World League
    2. Islamic Society of North America
    3. Egyptian General Authority of Survey
    4. Umm al-Qura, Makkah
    5. University of Islamic Sciences, Karachi
    6. Institute of Geophysics, Tehran
    7. Dubai
    8. Kuwait
    9. Qatar
    10. Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura
    11. Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı, Turkey
    12. Moonsighting Committee Worldwide
    13. Union des Organisations Islamiques de France
    14. Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia
    15. JAKIM, Malaysia
  • Qibla compass

The compass points you towards the Kaaba and confirms when you are facing the right way. You also see the distance and the shortest path (great circle) on a map – and the sun and moon at their real positions in the sky, the shadow length for Asr and the visibility of the crescent.

  • The place follows you

In “Automatic” mode Salaty keeps city, time zone and prayer times in step with where you are as soon as you open the app – Dortmund in Dortmund, Damascus in Damascus. Prefer a fixed city? Choose it in Settings.

  • Ramadan & festivals

During Ramadan Imsak appears with Fajr (margin adjustable), and a Ramadan card counts down to Iftar and Imsak and shows the day of the month. All year round you see how many days are left until Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and more – tap to open the calendar.

  • Nearby mosques

A card in the Qibla tab shows the closest mosque around your place – tap it for the nearest mosques, sorted by distance, with a map and addresses; the search widens up to 150 km when needed. “Route” takes you straight to Apple Maps, and each mosque also shows the closest public parking within 300 m. The search runs through Apple Maps and needs an internet connection.

  • Adhan & reminders

Choose adhan, notification, silent or off for each prayer – with an optional reminder beforehand. Pick one of the three tones designed for Salaty or record your own adhan. Trimming is simple: one waveform, two handles, a movable window for the notification, plus “First 30 s”, “Loudest 30 s” and “Whole recording”. In the app the adhan plays in full; tap the alert and it continues where the clip left off (in the background iOS allows at most 30 seconds). Alerts are scheduled on your device.

  • Calendar with Hijri mode

The whole month at a glance, Gregorian or by Hijri months – with Islamic observances such as Ramadan, Eid and Laylat al-Qadr. Share the monthly timetable as a PDF.

  • Quran

Read the Quran in the mushaf script of DigitalKhatt, set bookmarks and let khatm goals accompany your reading.

  • Widgets

The next prayer with a live countdown: on iOS for the Home and Lock Screen and as a control in Control Center, on Android as a home screen widget.

  • Your data stays with you
