Tones and adhan (app)

The Salaty app ships no third-party adhan recordings. The bundled tones were created for Salaty. You can record your own adhan or import an audio file; it stays on your device.

Place data in the live demo

The city list in the live demo is based on the GeoNames geographical database (geonames.org), licensed under CC BY 4.0. The data was selected and abridged for the demo: a selection of places, fewer fields and rounded coordinates.

Quran text in the live demo

The Quran preview in the live demo shows Sura Al-Fātiḥa (verses 1–7) unchanged from the Tanzil Quran Text (Uthmani, Version 1.1), Copyright (C) 2007-2026 Tanzil Project, License: Creative Commons Attribution 3.0. Source: Tanzil Project — tanzil.net. Under Tanzil’s terms of use, the text must not be changed; the demo’s file contains Tanzil’s copyright notice.
